Moviegoers have started noticing a new Tron: Ares LED popcorn bucket at Regal Theatres, available as part of a collectible combo with a large drink. This isn’t your average popcorn container – it has a see-through window and lights up! This is the third collectible popcorn bucket released for the upcoming Tron: Ares movie, joining the previously revealed lightcycle and arcade cabinet buckets. Here’s the information we have on when the LED bucket will be available and how much it will cost.
What is the price and release date for the Tron Ares LED popcorn bucket and cup combo?
Regal expects to release the Tron Ares LED popcorn bucket and collectible cup on October 8th. The set is estimated to cost between $45 and $70, while the popcorn bucket alone should be around $20 to $30 and the cup around $30 to $40.
The movie will be available to watch in theaters, and the first screenings are scheduled for October 8th. Regal usually releases related merchandise, like popcorn buckets, when a film premieres. However, some individual Regal locations might start selling the merchandise a little earlier than the official release date.
The price of the LED popcorn bucket and combo will be similar to Regal’s standard buckets and tumblers. Regular buckets are reasonably priced, but the light-up feature will add a little to the cost. Typical Regal tumblers range from $35 to $40. Although this collectible cup is larger and illuminated, we expect it to be around the same price. However, because both items are Disney-licensed, they might cost slightly more than usual.
Generally, the bucket and cup will be much cheaper than the lightcycle and Tron arcade game machines.
