Alan Cumming recently told Variety at the Emmys that he initially didn’t believe he was being offered a role in the new movie. He thought it must be a prank when he first heard about it, as the actor known for ‘Nightcrawler’ explained.

At first, I assumed it was a joke,” Cumming explained. “When I went to meet them at Disney, it was during some Jewish holiday-I don’t recall which one-so the park was practically empty. I wondered if this was a setup, like one of those pranks Ashton Kutcher used to do on ‘Punk’d’!
