One Piece Renewed for Season 3 at Netflix as First Look at Season 2 Drops

It was announced that Season 3 of “One Piece” will be released by Netflix before the premiere of Season 2. This information was shared at this year’s One Piece Day event in Tokyo, where Netflix also revealed the initial glimpses of Season 2.

Season 2: Into the Grand Line

The second season is expected to premiere in 2026, during which Luffy and his comrades will embark on their voyage across the Grand Line, a sea region renowned for its perils and marvels. In the original content, this journey signifies a significant milestone, as the tales become more expansive, the antagonists grow stronger, and the enigmas surrounding the world gradually unfold.

Netflix’s official description hints at “tougher opponents and the riskiest journeys yet,” featuring peculiar islands, treacherous waters, and formidable foes lurking at every destination. The original group is reprising their roles: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. In a significant expansion of the cast for Season 2, David Dastmalchian takes on the role of the cunning villain Mr. 3, Katey Sagal is set to play the quirky Dr. Kureha, Sendhil Ramamurthy will portray the regal Nefertari Cobra, and Joe Manganiello assumes the character of Mr. 0, who is well-known to manga readers as a key antagonist in one of the most cherished story arcs.
