In the preview for Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 3, we see Chris Smith, better known as Peacemaker, gazing at a bicycle and saying, “Oh, absolutely!” He then expresses delight upon discovering that residents of this alternate reality hold him in high regard, stating, “This is the finest dimension!
Sasha Bordeaux, portrayed by Sol Rodríguez, is overheard saying, “Peacemaker is A.R.G.U.S.’s main focus,” suggesting he’s under the watch of this organization. Trouble arises as a voice threatens, “Until our requirements are fulfilled, how many here will die?” In response, Peacemaker charges into the building to confront the group making the warning. Later on, Keith queries him, “You alright, buddy? You’ve been vanishing more than typical,” and Chris responds, “I’m doing well.
In Episode 2, entitled “A Man’s Worth is Defined by His Companion,” it was disclosed that Rick Flag Senior assumed the role of Acting Director for A.R.G.U.S., eight months prior, following Amanda Waller’s congressional inquiry. With this newfound power, Flag Senior focused his attention on Chris, having learned about the demise of Rick Flag Junior in Corto Maltese. Subsequently, he ordered A.R.G.U.S. agents to delve into the unusual energy readings emanating from a multi-dimensional chamber designed by Chris’s father, which connects to 99 alternate realities.
In the same episode, Peacemaker and Vigilante cremated their multiverse equivalent’s corpse. Following Emilia Harcourt’s rejection, Chris sought solace in a world that appeared more hospitable. Simultaneously, Eagley murdered A.R.G.U.S. agents dispatched to arrest Chris, thus intensifying the dispute.
In the second season of “Peacemaker,” we see John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, and Steve Agee take on leading roles.
