A fresh piece of information about Marvel Studios’ upcoming film, “Avengers: Doomsday,” featuring Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki, has popped up online. This eagerly awaited superhero movie is slated to hit theaters on December 18, 2026, with “Avengers: Secret Wars” set for release a year later on December 17, 2027.

Based on information from sources like Daniel Richtman, there are rumors that Tom Hiddleston has filmed a scene for Avengers: Doomsday alongside Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers and Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter, possibly in their shared home. Although Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed Evans and Atwell’s involvement as of yet, there have been numerous speculations about their potential return. This latest rumor appears to be linked to previous reports suggesting that Steve’s choice to remain in Peggy’s timeline could lead to severe consequences.

Since Doomsday might focus on the Multiverse, it’s not unexpected that Loki could play a significant part in the upcoming movie, given his actions at the conclusion of Loki Season 2. To the delight of fans, he gave himself up to become the God of Stories, a move intended to preserve the multiverse.

Doomsday” is being helmed by the same directors responsible for “Avengers: Endgame,” Joe and Anthony Russo. The script was penned by Stephen McFeely. In the fifth edition, we’ll see the comeback of the X-Men stars including Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen reprising Magneto, Alan Cumming playing Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum in his role as Gambit.
