For instance, Nathan Fillion’s character Guy Gardner may make an appearance, along with the peculiar wig he’s known for wearing.
At San Diego Comic-Con, James Gunn expressed his joy in discussing the unique wig, and made it clear that he intends to incorporate the Green Lantern actor more frequently in future projects. Jokingly, he added that one reason for this is his amusement at seeing him don the “silly” wig he must wear. It’s amusing that James Gunn made that joke, considering he planned for Guy Gardner to appear in Peacemaker Season 2. The season opener seems to have set up a sort of continuity adjustment, or retcon, regarding Zack Snyder’s initial DC Extended Universe (DCEU), which might explain why he didn’t openly reveal the cameo at San Diego Comic-Con.
