Recap

The film centers around a team of anthropology students being pursued by a relentless serial killer. As they band together to identify their tormentor, they delve into the past of the town. Best Parts

In a nostalgic nod to ’80s and ’90s slasher flicks, this movie skillfully omits contemporary technology, transporting us back in time. This timeless setting adds depth to the plot, enabling us to piece together the truth. The enigma surrounding the masked figure keeps us hooked, reminiscent of the suspense found in Scream. The actors deliver solid performances, bringing a vibrant assortment of engaging characters to life.

Worst Parts

The film finds it challenging to set its student characters apart from other slasher movies. These characters lack depth, making them less appealing for potential sequels, and they frequently overact, which dilutes their main roles.

Final Thoughts213 Bones is a great retro styled slasher movie.
