The Simpsons is recasting a fan-favorite character.
Matt Groening created The Simpsons, the groundbreaking animated series that’s become a huge global success. It’s one of the longest-running shows of all time, and even had a movie released in 2007—with another one currently being made! Starting as short, minute-long animations, The Simpsons has evolved into a major part of pop culture and is already planning its thirty-seventh season.
At the San Diego Comic Con, ScreenRant learned that Marge Simpson will be played by a different actress, Demi Moore, in a special episode of season 37 titled “Yellow Mirror.” While Julie Kavner has voiced Marge consistently since 1987 – originally on The Tracey Ullman Show – this episode will feature a new take on the character.
