Xbox servers occasionally experience problems, and there are some significant issues happening today. Because Xbox Live is linked to other Microsoft services, outages often affect things like Outlook, Teams, and Office 365 at the same time.
It’s one thing to briefly disrupt everyday tasks, but quite another to interrupt someone deeply engaged in a game. The issue is particularly frustrating now because several highly anticipated games are being affected by server issues right as they launch.
Xbox Support on X (formerly Twitter) has acknowledged that some players are having trouble connecting to Xbox services. They’re working on a fix and will share more information as soon as it’s available.
