Alien: Earth Episode 4 Trailer Teases Wendy’s Xenomorph Power

As a diehard sci-fi enthusiast, I’m super excited to share that the trailer for Episode 4 of FX’s Alien: Earth has dropped! It hints at my character, Wendy, possessing some enigmatic abilities and an uncanny link with the Xenomorphs. Alien: Earth, masterminded by Noah Hawley, is a spine-chilling prequel to Ridley Scott’s iconic 1979 Alien film. This thrilling series, filled with horror elements, premiered on FX on August 12, 2025, and has a total run of 8 gripping episodes.

Alien: Earth Episode 4 trailer teases what really happened to Wendy

In the recently released teaser for Alien: Earth Episode 4, viewers caught a glimpse of the potential link between Wendy and the Xenomorphs.

In Episode 3, titled “Metamorphosis,” character portrayed by Sydney Chandler (Wendy) collapsed en route to the Prodigy lab, following the eerie sounds of a facehugger undergoing surgery, which was being performed by Timothy Olyphant’s character, Kirsh.

Due to this, it’s caused numerous people to suspect that Wendy could be linked to the Xenomorphs in some way. This assumption arises primarily from the fact that the cries of a Xenomorph affect similarly-species individuals but do not seem to affect hybrids.

In the beginning of Episode 4’s trailer, Wendy is seen waking up with scientists interrogating her. They inquire about the events outside the Prodigy lab, to which she responds, “I woke up and I heard something… it was shouting.” The footage also reveals Wendy attempting to find answers on her own.

Moreover, even though Wendy was one of Boy Kavaliar’s initial hybrid creations, her ability to comprehend the Xenomorph dialect leaves many spectators puzzled and without a clear explanation.

Instead, it might be because Ripley has the unique talent to pick up on the specific frequency used by Xenomorphs for communication, an ability she uniquely possesses (according to The Direct).

Episode 4 of Alien: Earth will drop on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
