
One of the stars of the Planet of the Apes franchise has just joined the cast of Life is Strange.
Owen Teague, known for his role as Noa in this year’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, will play a drug dealer named Frank Bowers in the upcoming Life is Strange series on Prime Video, as reported by Variety. Joining the cast are Tom Cullen as Max’s teacher, Mark Jefferson, Leisha Hailey as Chloe’s mother, Joyce Price, and Raúl Castillo as Chloe’s step-father, David Madsen.
In early March 2026, Maisy Stella (known from Nashville) and Tatum Grace Hopkins (Meek) were cast as the main characters, Chloe Price and Max Caulfield, in the upcoming series. The show will be executive produced by a team including Charlie Covell, Mackenzie Dohr, Karyn Kusama, Dmitri M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg, Timothy I. Stevenson, Jen Roskind, Dani Gorin, and Natalie Berkus. Charlie Covell will also be the showrunner and oversee production, with Mackenzie Dohr contributing as a writer and Karyn Kusama directing the first two episodes.
