Fans of both the anime and manga have witnessed the sheer destructive force of his attacks, like Archangel Shootdown and Archangel Destruction. More recently, he’s started working with his new Captain, Yuno, to defeat especially strong devils.

Charmy Pappitson Is the Ultimate Support Mage

Most fans wouldn’t expect Charmy Pappitson to be one of the most powerful characters in Black Clover, especially since she’s always focused on food. But because she’s half-human, half-dwarf, she can use two different types of magic that work incredibly well together.

Charmy can create things from cotton, ranging from harmless clouds and sheep to surprisingly fierce ram monsters. She can also conjure a giant wolf with cutlery! This wolf isn’t just for show – it can steal mana from opponents, weakening their magical abilities. But Charmy truly shines as a support mage, using her cooking to restore and even boost the mana of her allies.

William Vangeance Could Have Been a Wizard King

William Vangeance first appeared in Black Clover as the enigmatic, masked captain of the Golden Dawn. As leader of the strongest magic knight squad, he was expected to be incredibly powerful, and many believed he would eventually take over from Julius Novachrono. Although he later stepped down and was no longer considered a successor, William remained a remarkably strong mage.

William Vangeance is a powerful mage who can create and command massive world trees using a special type of magic. He utilizes all parts of these trees – roots and branches for restraints – and the trees grow stronger by absorbing mana from people around them. Even though he’s stepped down from his previous position, it’s clear William still has a significant part to play in the events to come.

Patolli, the leader of the Eye of the Midnight Sun, is a remarkably powerful being. He controls light, allowing him to fire energy blasts, move at incredible speeds, and create weapons made of pure light. He can even use this light to heal his own wounds. During his fight with Julius Novachrono, Patolli demonstrated the ability to reach an even higher level of power.

When Patolli gave in to hopelessness, his magic transformed into the incredibly powerful Demon Light magic. This dramatically boosted his speed and strength, making him unstoppable even against Asta and Yuno working together in their transformed states. Surprisingly, even after Asta cured him, Patolli kept the ability to use this potent magic. While he was once a major threat to the Clover Kingdom, many even stronger characters have emerged since his initial appearance.

Zagred Surprised The Heroes And Villains With His Power

I witnessed firsthand how Zagred orchestrated the devastating massacre of the elves and corrupted Patolli, turning him down a dangerous path. He truly felt like the embodiment of evil. When he first appeared, he was incredibly powerful, and his World Soul Magic was terrifying – he could reshape his environment simply by speaking. But that was only a fraction of his immense and frightening abilities.

This Devil became incredibly powerful after acquiring a Grimoire of Despair. He could summon vast amounts of demonic energy, draining the mana and life force of anything living. His unique ability, Noad Nephesh, let him hold onto souls indefinitely, allowing him to resurrect them centuries later – a plan that enabled his many schemes. Despite the combined strength of Licht and Lemiel, they couldn’t destroy him.

Dante Zogratis Has the Power to Back His Arrogance

With the latest arc in Black Clover, three incredibly strong villains have appeared. Known as the Dark Triad, they took control of the Spade Kingdom by defeating King Loyce Grinberryall – who also happens to be Yuno’s father. They are all siblings from the Zogratis family, and while Dante Zogratis is considered the weakest of the three, he’s surprisingly the most boastful, believing himself to be an exceptionally powerful fighter.

Dante is a very strong fighter, as shown when he battled both Asta and Yami in the fourth season of the anime. He has a unique ability called Body Magic that lets him heal quickly during a fight. Combining this with Bone and Blood Magic, he can even regrow lost limbs or create a whole new body. However, even with all his power – including being the host for Lucifero – Dante is ultimately defeated by Asta, who uses Yami’s katana.

Lolopechka, as the queen of the Hearts Kingdom, possesses immense magical ability, alongside impressive courage and strength. She consistently puts herself in danger to safeguard her people, even when she’s hesitant or unsure.

The queen’s strong connection to the Heart Kingdom’s natural mana is the reason she has such a vast amount of power, allowing her to both help her people and overcome her enemies. While she isn’t the strongest fighter, her seemingly endless mana more than compensates for it. Because she’s linked to the spirit of water, she possesses enough magical energy to perform amazing feats, though she generally avoids combat.

Nozel Silva’s Mastery Over Mercury Makes Him Top-Tier

Nozel Silva often looks down on others, but he’s incredibly powerful. Through dedicated training with Mercury Magic, he became adaptable in any fight, even against opponents who had an advantage over his magic. This ability lets him create different shapes and forms out of mercury to attack, defend, or move himself and others, making it a very versatile skill in the world of Black Clover.

When Patolli transformed into a dark elf, Nozel wasn’t worried about his growing power. Instead, Nozel used his mercury to create a mirror-like surface, trapping Patolli and defeating him by bouncing the villain’s dark magic back at him. While Nozel is a powerful Magic Knight captain, his sister Noelle has clearly surpassed him in strength. However, Nozel isn’t bothered by this anymore.
