Masters of the Universe: He-Man Movie Casts Kristen Wiig, Character Revealed

The soon-to-be-released “Masters of the Universe” film cast has expanded, welcoming popular actress Kristen Wiig to play an iconic part.

Who is Kristen Wiig playing in Masters of the Universe?

As per the latest report by THR, it’s been announced that Wiig will provide the voice for Roboto, a character in the Heroic Warriors group who is entirely mechanical and renowned for his transparent torso and exceptional intellect.

It’s uncertain exactly how Wiig’s character, Roboto, fits into the movie, but given that other roles have been announced, it seems probable that Roboto will team up with He-Man to defend Eternia.

In this live-action adaptation of Masters of the Universe, Nicholas Galitzine takes on the dual role of Prince Adam and He-Man, alongside a star-studded cast led by Jared Leto as Skeletor. The charismatic Alison Brie plays Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin portrays The Sorceress, Camila Mendes brings Teela to life, Idris Elba embodies Duncan/Man-at-Arms, James Purefoy stars as King Randor, Charlotte Riley takes on the role of Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson plays Malcolm/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson portrays Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson is Goat Man, and Kojo Attah brings Tri-Klops to the screen.

Besides Jon Xue Zhang, who is set to play Ram-Man, we have Sasheer Zamata cast as Suzie and Christian Vunipola joining the team as Hussein.

The story revolves around 10-year-old Prince Adam who lands on Earth in a spaceship and loses his magical Power Sword, the key to his home planet Eternia. After almost two decades, he locates the sword and is transported back to space. As he returns to defend his homeland against the malevolent Skeletor, Prince Adam must first discover the secrets of his past to transform into He-Man, the mightiest man in the universe!

In this film titled “Masters of the Universe,” it is Travis Knight who takes the director’s chair. Chris Butler is responsible for crafting the screenplay, while David Callaham, along with brothers Aaron Nee and Adam Nee, contributed to the early draft.
