Before joining the fifth and final season of a popular show, one actor expressed amazement at how much the dark comedy resonates with audiences around the globe.
During a recent interview, Steven Moffat, who will be featured in an episode on May 7th, enthusiastically discussed the show, noting its widespread popularity and dedicated fanbase.
It’s a widely popular show, appealing to pretty much everyone. From people on the West Coast to those in Middle America, and even the trendiest coffee shop crowds, it seems to have broad appeal.
It really has something for everyone. The show explores many different perspectives, and it’s brilliantly written and acted. The quality of the writing is so good that I think viewers will easily become invested in the story.
Hacks has quickly become one of America’s most popular and critically acclaimed TV shows. In the latest season, both Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder won Emmy Awards for their acting, and the show was also nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series. It’s been a huge hit on HBO Max since the premiere of Season 5, proving Moffat’s point that the series appeals to a wide audience.
Hacks May Not Be Over After Season 5
The hit show Hacks will conclude with its current fifth season, though there’s a possibility the story isn’t over for good. Hannah Einbinder, who plays Ava Daniels, has suggested a movie could wrap things up. This wouldn’t be unusual, as other successful TV shows like Breaking Bad, Psych, and Downton Abbey have continued their narratives through films.
Although it’s not a guarantee, this gives fans of the show Hacks hope that more could be coming after the series ends. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with Deborah, Ava, and the rest of the characters. For now, there are still a few hilarious episodes left before the show concludes.
