Invincible Season 4 Episode 7 ending reveals who dies and what happens to Viltrumites
In Invincible Season 4, Episode 7, “Don’t Do Anything Rash,” Mark and Nolan’s group finally reach the Viltrumite home world, only to discover a shocking sight: thousands of dead Viltrumites floating in space. They quickly realize Thragg was expecting them, as he’s waiting amongst the corpses. A battle immediately begins between the Coalition and the remaining Viltrumites who had been in hiding.
Zeo attempts to inject Thragg with the Sinlak Beetle compound, but accidentally hits another Viltrumite instead. Thankfully, Allen manages to kill the affected Viltrumite, proving the compound is effective. Later, Oliver bravely fights Thragg, but Thragg is far too strong and brutally injures Oliver, ripping off his arm and jaw.
Thaedus, Nolan, and Mark arrived at Viltrum and destroyed the planet. Thragg, furious at this attack, confronted them and immediately killed Thaedus by beheading him. A brutal fight followed between Thragg and the remaining two. Thragg eventually defeated them, severely injuring Nolan with a chest wound and blinding Mark. Despite pressure from other Viltrumites to finish them off, Thragg chose to spare Nolan and Mark. The six Viltrumites who remained then flew off together.
Nolan and Mark are rescued from space by the Coalition and brought aboard their ship, where they begin to recover. Oliver, however, remains in critical condition and is still unconscious in the stasis tank. Meanwhile, Allen, now leading the Coalition of Planets, is trying to figure out where the other Viltrumites have gone. It suddenly dawns on Mark, and he fears they’ve headed for Earth.
The episode concluded with a cliffhanger, leaving viewers to wonder if the Viltrumites will come to Earth seeking revenge or to colonize it. With only one episode remaining, it’s sure to be an exciting conclusion.
The season finale episode, titled “Don’t Leave Me Hanging Here,” will stream on April 22, 2026.
