Be warned – this article contains spoilers for the latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, titled “Kicking the Ant’s Nest.” If you haven’t watched it yet, you can stream it on HBO Max, but proceed with caution!
The show 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way follows Americans who fall in love with people from other countries. However, it often turns out that moving to a new country is harder than they thought, and many couples end up returning to the United States. It seems like this might happen with Chloe Fabiano and Johny Fernandes, as the latest episode revealed they received a tempting offer that could bring them back to the US.
This was the second week Chloe’s mother, Michelle, visited Aruba to check on her daughter’s new life. Chloe didn’t mention she’d been secretly watching Johny, worried he might be unfaithful, but she couldn’t hide the fact that they’re really struggling financially as they try to build a life there. This led to someone making them an offer, and I doubt they’ll refuse it.
Chloe’s Mother Wants The Couple To Move To Boston
Unlike some couples who financed their move abroad by selling a house, Chloe has relied primarily on her mother’s financial support. Michelle visited not only to check on Chloe, but also to inform her that she would no longer provide funding.
She did have one way to help Chloe and Johny: if they moved from Aruba to Boston. Chloe could then start the job her mother had arranged, and Johny could stay with her until his green card came through and he was legally able to work.
With Chloe Lined Up With A Big Job, The Decision Seems Obvious
So, Chloe’s mom actually lined up a job for her, but she ran off to Aruba for Johny. Now, she can’t work right now, and starting anything new is going to cost her $600 upfront, plus a monthly fee. Honestly, as someone who’s seen a lot of movies, I’m guessing that steady paycheck with benefits back home is looking really good right about now. And, just a hunch, but I’d bet her old job probably paid a lot better than being a party boat entertainer!
More On 90 Day Fiancé
As a big fan of ’90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After,’ I watched the Tell-All and honestly, one couple is giving me major déjà vu. It’s starting to feel like they’re falling into the same pattern as Ariela and Biniyam – and I’m worried it won’t end well! It’s like history is repeating itself, and I can’t help but see the parallels.
Aruba is gorgeous and feels like paradise, but moving there isn’t the only good option. Boston is a vibrant U.S. city with lots to offer, and I know other couples from 90 Day Fiancé who would much prefer living there over being in a remote area like Wyoming.
Seeing that picture of Chloe seemingly back in the States for Halloween makes me wonder if 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way might end with them moving to Boston. Honestly, a comfortable life in a city seems a lot more appealing than struggling to make ends meet on an island. What’s the point of living in a beautiful place if you can’t afford to enjoy it?

HBO Max subscriptions begin at $10.99 per month and are the place to stream everything in the 90 Day Fiancé universe, including all its related shows. For that price (the Basic With Ads plan), you’ll have access to a huge library of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and more. Check out the deal here.
You can continue watching 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way on TLC every Monday at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and it will be part of the TV lineup in 2026. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Chloe and Johny decide, especially if they’re hesitant to leave Aruba, and what their next steps will be.
