Fans won’t have to wait long for more 90 Day Fiancé in 2026! Season 5 of The Single Life will start right after The Other Way finishes airing. I’m excited to see what happens with some returning cast members, but I’m a little worried that two of the choices don’t quite fit with the show’s premise.
I’m having trouble understanding why Colt Johnson and Cortney Reardanz are on Season 5 of 90 Day: The Single Life. While I was excited to see someone from 90 Day: Hunt For Love – like Elise on Before The 90 Days – join a spinoff, I’m not convinced this is a good fit.
How Are Cortney And Colt A Couple, But On The Single Life?
The latest season of 90 Day: Hunt For Love showed Cortney choosing Colt over Usman, and it looks like The Single Life will continue that story. There were previous reports that Colt temporarily moved in with Cortney’s parents while recovering from a leg injury. However, the new trailer shows him walking around, so it seems like filming happened quite a while after his injury on Hunt For Love.
It’s good to hear what’s going on with Colt and Cortney, but I’m confused why they’re on 90 Day: The Single Life. The show is meant for people who are actually single, and they’re clearly in a relationship. It makes me wonder if the show’s original idea even matters anymore. I’ll probably still watch, but I definitely don’t agree with this casting choice!

I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens with Sophie and Pedro now that they’re on vacation together. Rumors started circulating last year about them spending time together, specifically after Sophie was seen with Chantel Everett’s ex-husband. It wasn’t immediately obvious if they were a couple or just enjoying a vacation friendship.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Gino on his own in 90 Day Fiancé and whether he can create interesting drama without Jasmine. It will definitely be strange to see him in a storyline where she isn’t involved, but that’s kind of the point of The Single Life!
