Mads Mikkelsen delivered a particularly compelling performance as Hannibal Lecter – a notoriously difficult role to pull off. For those who revisit it, Hannibal remains a strikingly memorable show, and it’s disappointing that it didn’t get the chance to further explore its unique style and the source material it was based on.
