Even though “Avengers: Doomsday” isn’t out for several months, fans are already trying to figure out which actors will be in it. Recently, three actors who’ve had smaller roles in Marvel movies shared whether or not they’ll be joining the fight against Doctor Doom.
Marvel actors on if they’ll be in Avengers: Doomsday’s cast
During an interview on The Graham Norton Show, the host questioned Wunmi Mosaku, Idris Elba, and Martin Freeman – known for their roles as Hunter B-15, Heimdall, and Everett Ross in Marvel movies – about whether they would appear in the upcoming film, Avengers: Doomsday.
Freeman smiled and said it seemed not everyone was participating, prompting a playful “Rude” from Mosaku. Elba then jokingly pointed out that Norton’s character had died in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Norton responded with a darkly humorous “They all die,” which made Elba, the other guests, and the audience laugh.
In the opening scenes of Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos kills Heimdall. This happens after he boards Thor’s ship in search of the Space Stone, which Loki has hidden inside the Tesseract.
Heimdall is an important character in the Thor movies. He most recently appeared in a scene after the credits of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder.’ In that scene, he’s shown in Valhalla, welcoming Jane Foster after she dies from cancer following her fight with Gorr the God Butcher.
In the Disney+ series Loki, Hunter B-15 is a key character. Initially, she’s a TVA agent who has been brainwashed, but she eventually recovers her memories and remembers being Verity Willis. She then teams up with Loki and rises to become the leader of the TVA. More recently, she appears in Deadpool & Wolverine, where she arrests Paradox after discovering he used the Time Ripper to erase timelines, including the one where Deadpool lived.
Everett Ross has appeared in several Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, including Captain America: Civil War and the Black Panther films. Most recently, he was in the Disney+ series Secret Invasion. During the show, it’s revealed that Ross was actually a Skrull impostor who had been held captive in Russia. Thankfully, he and the other captives are rescued by the end of the series.
Avengers: Doomsday premieres on the big screen on December 18, 2026.
