The end of Invincible Season 4 Episodes 1, 2, and 3 hint at big problems ahead for Mark Grayson and his friends. The episodes quickly ramp up the tension, showing Mark struggling with his relationship with Atom Eve, figuring out what’s right and wrong, and the ever-present danger from the Viltrum Empire. We also meet new characters like Dinosaurus, Universa, and Thragg.
Invincible Season 4 Episode 1 and 3 have two huge post-credits scenes
The very end of Invincible Season 4, Episode 1 shows that Conquest, who was imprisoned in a secret bunker watched over by Cecil and Donald, actually survived his intense fight with Mark and Atom Eve. Annoyed that they didn’t finish him off, he escapes and flies into space. Cecil, Donald, and the Global Defense Agency are stunned to see him get away.
The scene after the credits of Episode 2 shows Conquest reporting his failure to the Viltrum Empire’s leader, Thragg. He desperately asks Thragg to punish him severely as an example to other Viltrumites, hoping it will motivate them to become more powerful. But Thragg refuses to kill him, stating he doesn’t reward failure and coldly tells Conquest he still has tasks to complete.
The final scene after the credits of Invincible Season 4, Episode 3, shows Mark waking up startled, suggesting he had a bad dream. He goes to check on Eve in the bathroom, but she locks the door and says she’ll be out shortly. We then see Eve is pregnant – a positive pregnancy test confirms it. This adds a new challenge to her struggle with her powers and hints at the future arrival of Terra Grayson, her and Mark’s daughter from the comic books.
The first three episodes of Invincible Season 4 are now available to watch on Amazon Prime Video. Robert Kirkman and Simon Racioppa created and run the show together.
Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons are the main voice actors in the series. Gillian Jacobs, Grey DeLisle, Walton Goggins, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Melise, and Zachary Quinto are among the many talented actors providing supporting voices.
