2026’s WandaVision Sequel: All 12 Heroes & Villains Confirmed to Appear, Ranked by Power Level

Marvel Studios has announced the cast for its upcoming Disney+ series, VisionQuest, revealing 12 superheroes and villains who will appear. This sequel to WandaVision is the third live-action series Marvel will release on Disney+ this year, following Wonder Man in January and Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again in March. VisionQuest is scheduled to premiere in the fall, leading up to the release of Avengers: Doomsday in December.

This series continues the story begun in WandaVision and Agatha All Along, focusing on Vision, played by Paul Bettany, and other AI characters with ties to Iron Man.

VisionQuest’s 12 Main Characters Ranked by Power Level (Worst to Best)

U

The show VisionQuest is revisiting AI programs originally created by Tony Stark for use in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. These AIs are now appearing as distinct personalities within Vision’s consciousness.

Jonathan Sayer’s U, a robotic arm featured in the movie Iron Man, was known for being a bit clumsy, even when performing easy jobs.

DUM-E

I’m so excited to hear that DUM-E, one of Iron Man’s robotic arms, is coming back! It’s been years since we’ve seen him, and I can’t wait to see him again in the WandaVision sequel coming out in 2026. He’s the second of Tony’s robotic arms to make a return, which is awesome!

DUM-E and U were consistently loyal to Tony Stark, even helping to save his life by providing a backup arc reactor. However, they mostly assisted in the creation of the first Iron Man suits by putting out fires and handing him tools.

JARVIS

I always loved JARVIS, Tony Stark’s original AI assistant in the MCU – and it’s so cool that Paul Bettany originally gave him a voice! Now, it’s incredibly exciting to learn that James D’Arcy, who brilliantly played Edwin Jarvis in Agent Carter, is taking on the role. It feels like a perfect, full-circle moment, bringing that classic connection to the character back to life!

JARVIS was a groundbreaking AI, but considering he was developed before FRIDAY, EDITH, and Ultron, his technology is likely less sophisticated than theirs.

FRIDAY

After Ultron defeated JARVIS in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man switched to FRIDAY as his new AI assistant. FRIDAY was essentially an improved version of JARVIS, utilizing more advanced technology and offering better support during battles.

FRIDAY, the ship’s computer, will have a new voice in the upcoming season of VisionQuest. Actress Orla Brady, known for her role in Star Trek: Picard, is taking over the voice acting from Kerry Condon.

EDITH

In Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) receives EDITH – an advanced system that controls Tony Stark’s global defense network. This control is accessed through a pair of augmented reality glasses. Because EDITH manages a worldwide network of weapons, including satellites, it’s an incredibly powerful tool.

The character EDITH, previously voiced by Dawn Michelle King (known for her work on Spider-Man: Far From Home), is getting a new voice actress. Emily Hampshire, famous for Schitt’s Creek, will now voice the character as EDITH takes on a human form. This change in actors may suggest a larger role for EDITH in the story beyond a simple recasting.

Jocasta

Fans of Marvel Comics know Jocasta as the wife of Ultron, created by the robot villain himself. In the comics, she’s a powerful hero with a titanium steel body who fights with the Avengers. Interestingly, she goes against her original programming to fall in love with and help Ultron.

Currently, all we know about Jocasta from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (played by T’Nia Miller) is that she’s another artificial intelligence created by Tony Stark.

Raza

Marvel Studios is unexpectedly bringing back a villain from the Iron Man movies. Faran Tahir will reprise his role as Raza, the leader of a Ten Rings group who famously captured Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in Afghanistan.

Viewers previously thought Raza and his group were eliminated by Obadiah Stane’s forces in Iron Man, so his reappearance is unexpected. It’s currently unclear how much power or impact he has after about twenty years.

Lisa Molinari

Okay, so the cast for VisionQuest just got a really interesting addition! Lauren Morais is joining the MCU as Lisa Molinari, who goes by the villain name Coat of Arms. She’s part of the Young Masters, a team of baddies designed to be the villains to the Young Avengers. I’m immediately thinking this could set up a cool rivalry with Speed, one of VisionQuest‘s younger heroes. It’s a smart move to build out both sides of that conflict and I’m excited to see how this plays out on screen.

In Marvel comics, the character Coat of Arms has a unique jacket that grants her additional arms and the ability to fly, allowing her to wield many swords simultaneously. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe might not include all of these abilities, she’s sure to be a formidable fighter.

Paladin

Okay, so it looks like Marvel is finally giving us a really gritty, street-level villain! I’m hearing they’re introducing Paladin in a future project – apparently, he’s a bounty hunter who’s going to be after Vision and all his amazing tech. It’s kind of cool – they’re clearly taking a page from DC’s playbook with Deathstroke, giving us someone who’s a serious threat and a skilled hunter. I’m definitely intrigued to see how this plays out!

We don’t know who sent the bounty hunter after Vision, but Todd Stashwick’s character is a dangerous and skilled fighter who will be a serious threat.

Speed

The new series, VisionQuest, will introduce Tommy Maximoff, now grown up and reborn as Speed, played by Ruaridh Mollica. While he might not be as fast as the Flash, Speed can move at supersonic speeds, making him a very quick and powerful hero.

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m really excited about VisionQuest. Right now, Tommy Maximoff is the only twin confirmed to be in it, but there’s some buzz that Joe Locke, who was fantastic as Billy in Agatha All Along, will be back as Wiccan. If that happens, Wiccan’s powers – he can literally warp reality – would probably make him the most powerful character in the whole series, which would be amazing!

Ultron

James Spader, known for his role in The Blacklist, is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ultron for a second live-action appearance. Interestingly, he’ll appear not only as Ultron, but also in human form within Vision’s thoughts. This return isn’t just for fans of older Marvel movies; it’s crucial to the central idea of “fatherhood” explored in the VisionQuest series.

It’s been over ten years since Ultron, the villain from Avengers: Age of Ultron, last battled the Avengers. Although he currently doesn’t have a physical form, he’s sure to be plotting something dangerous in VisionQuest that will make him an even bigger threat than before.

Vision

Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision in a new Disney+ series, exploring his journey to regain his memories and become fully human again. After being destroyed by Thanos, SWORD rebuilt him with a new, white body – as seen in WandaVision – and he still possesses all his signature abilities, like energy blasts, phasing through objects, and flying.

The White Vision rebuilt by S.W.O.R.D. proved to be as powerful as Wanda’s recreated Chaos Magic in WandaVision, though he might not be quite as strong as he used to be. While he still has a body made of vibranium, losing the Mind Stone could mean a decrease in his overall power.
