1st Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Gets a Pop-Tarts Remake

A funny new trailer inspired by the first teaser for Avengers: Doomsday has been released by Pop-Tarts Bowl. The original trailer built excitement for the movie and confirmed Chris Evans would be back as Captain America. Avengers: Doomsday, set to release later this year, will also see Robert Downey Jr. return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time as the villain Doctor Doom, facing off against a team of heroes including the Avengers and X-Men.

To build excitement for the new Avengers movie and announce the return of the College Football Playoff National Championship, Pop-Tarts released a playful video styled like a movie teaser. The video shows someone dressed in a Pop-Tarts costume riding a scooter home, grabbing a Pop-Tarts sprinkles t-shirt, and then cleaning a Pop-Tarts-themed baking pan.

The video ends with a message promising the return of the Pop-Tarts Bowl, displaying the Orlando logo and confirming the college football game will be back in December 2026 – the same month the movie Doomsday is set to release.

The new teaser has sparked a lot of reactions from fans. One fan, posting on X (formerly Twitter), even suggested turning the logo shown at the end into a t-shirt, writing, “This needs to be a shirt!”

Meanwhile, another user tweeted, “The marketing team behind the pop tart bowl needs to be studied.

I saw another fan react to the teaser, and they were really enthusiastic – they said it was a total hit! They even had a fun idea: a crossover between the Pop-Tarts Bowl and Marvel Studios. It’s definitely got people talking and sparking some creative thoughts!

The Avengers: Doomsday Pop-Tarts Bowl isn’t the first time the game has recreated a movie trailer. They’ve also made versions based on teasers for Thor, X-Men, and Black Panther.

The new Avengers movie, titled Doomsday, will be released on December 18, 2026. It was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who worked from a script written by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. The Russo brothers also produced the film alongside Marvel Studios through their company, AGBO.

The new movie boasts a star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, Simu Liu, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Pedro Pascal, and Robert Downey Jr., as well as many other talented actors.
